Union Avenue hotel sells for $29 million

A Downtown Memphis hotel was recently sold for $28.9 million. According to a warranty deed dated April 20, New York-based Carey Watermark Investors sold the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Memphis Downtown at 185 Union Ave. to Columbus, Ohio-based Continental Hospitality Group, doing business as King & Union Memphis Acquisitions LLC.
