Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for food production according to recipes and directions, assisting with food preparation including cutting a variety of fruits, vegetables, and protein using a knife or cutting machines. You will produce food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events, maintaining consistent quality on all product items. You will also be expected to ensure proper rotation and storage of goods and maintain the cleanliness and organization of your station. Must have batch cooking experience OR experience in high-demand restaurant settings.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fremont, California.

Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency. The noise level can be moderate to high and exposure to soap and cleaning solutions is common. Uneven surfaces may be encountered and there is frequent movement from cold freezer to normal kitchen environments. Occasional smoke, steam, and heat in a confined space may be experienced, as well as hot/cold environments when moving things in and out of the fridge and freezer. The shift for this position is Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm.
