Job Summary

As a Concessions Stand Lead, you will l ead and organize the operations at assigned concession stands to deliver a safe and friendly atmosphere to all non-profit organizations, team members and guests. Understand content of menu and ensures the timely delivery of food, follows food safety/sanitation guidelines, assists with operating designated concession stand.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Operations

• Completes and follows up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction

• Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing

• Responds to guests and team member's requests

• Establishes and builds rapport with guests and team members

• Completes assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

• Supports concessions staff members and assists with food preparation when necessary

• Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to all teammates and guests

• Ensures concession stand operations are proactive to serve guests in a timely manner

• Ensures products are displayed and merchandised appropriately in their assigned locations throughout the event

• Ensures proper control and handling of all inventory and equipment

• Follows responsible alcohol service policies

• Ability to record inventory for various concessions locations accurately and timely including but not limited to before, during and after events and monthly inventory

• Communicates guest issues to supervisors or managers

• Follows cash handling policies

• Ensure Point of Sale system is functioning properly and takin action to resolve difficulties when necessary

Job Requirements

• Lifts and transports up to 40 pounds. Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area

• Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English

• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time

• Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls and burns

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so
