General Manager / Chef Manager

Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for GM/Chef Manager to join our team at GE Aviation in Durham NC! We are looking for a talented GM/Chef Manager to take this account to the next level. The main focus is culinary and standardization.

The food operation at this location consists of 1 cafe that serves Breakfast and Lunch, Catering Operations, 24/7 cashless/self service simply to go out of the cafe, and vending operations with a total MV of 700K. The cafe has entree/action station, Deli, Salad, and Grill.

The GM/Chef Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

• 50/50 split between Culinary and GM admin duties

• Menu planning

• Ordering

• Inventory

• Food and labor cost

• Managing a team 4 hourly

• Client relation

• HR related duties

• Catering

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

SALARY IS 70K plus bonus
