Unit Description

Sodexo is looking for an Executive Chef 2 for Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg. LVH Muhlenberg is 195 bed hospital centrally located in the Lehigh Valley, providing convenient access to emergency or planned care whether you live in Bethlehem, Catasauqua, Northampton, Nazareth, Easton or beyond.Just a short drive away from the "City of Brotherly Love", Philadelphia, PA.

The Executive Chef 2 will support a team of frontline culinary associates and be responsible for all back of the house operations in retail, catering and patient services.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;

• has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

• has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

• can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and

• can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
