Barista, Greenhouse - Destination Kohler

Opportunity

Are you someone who enjoys providing customers with excellent customer service? Does the thought of providing guests with quality food and beverages in a café setting interest you? If so, then the position of Barista is for you!

Specific Responsibilities

• Greeting all customers and taking customer orders accurately

• Operating coffee making equipment

• Preparing and presenting beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards

• Serving prepared food items

• Recording and accurately processing purchases

• Collecting and processing payments from the customer including cash, credit and debit cards

• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area

• Dismantling and cleaning machinery as needed

• Stocking inventory according to storage requirements

This is a part time position with shifts on weekdays and weekends varying between 6am and 6pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Previous experience or familiarity with varieties of coffee drinks and equipment preferred

• Learn2Serve Certification preferred

• Previous experience with some food preparation preferred

• Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail needed

• The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role.
