Partition / Assembler Assistant

Pay Rate :

$17.45 per hour

Category/Shift :

Hourly Full-Time (6am-2pm - Monday-Friday) some OT

Hourly Full-Time (2pm-10pm Monday-Friday) some OT

The Job You Will Perform:

• Following all safety rules and practices

• Reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documentation to learn customer requirements

• Monitor and move stock through the production area

• Identify stock and products that correspond to work orders

• Perform assigned duties to insure production needs are met

• Assisting other employees as needed

• Accurately use tape measures and other measurement and test equipment

• Inspect, count, stack, and unitize products according to customer specifications

• Identify and separate non-conforming (reject) materials and products

• Maintain work areas to plant standards of housekeeping

• Maintain teamwork with machine crews and other employees

• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Learn all functions to operate machine in operator absence

• Ability to lift at least 35 pounds

• Ability to push stacks of corrugated sheets

• Stand on concrete for 8 hours

• Read tape measure and print cards for quality specifications

• Be a team player

• Ensure safety is a #1 priority
