Training Manager- Northstar at Tahoe
Title: Training Manager- Northstar at Tahoe Location: California/Nevada-Truckee The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the ability of each employee to deliver on our brand promise and the total guest experience. The incumbent in this position must have a passion for the resort industry and is responsible for providing front line training, new supervisory and leadership training including policies and procedures, as well as developing and maintaining on-line training programs as prescribed. This position represents Northstar and works closely with our community members and delivers interactive and professional trainings. The Training Manager develops partnerships to support organization goals through performance management. As a member of the Human Resource Team, this position provides support within the department as needed. Must have the following: * 2 years previous management experience, with proven positive results required * 2 years computer expertise including word, spreadsheets, publisher, web and basic graphics software required. * 3 years training experience including program development and effective, engaging delivery required * 2 years curriculum and program development required * Demonstrated ability to effectively speak publically with an engaging stylerequired * Previous experience in the resort and/or service industry preferred * Understanding of HR practices preferred * Willingness to assist with HR tasks as necessary and work as a team preferred
