Ticket Agent
Job Purpose or Scope:
This position exists to provide information about schedules, routes, prices and package express to customers, in a courteous and efficient manner.
Major
Responsibilities:
1) To sell tickets
2) To answer inquiries from customers and employees on the phone
3) To provide scheduling and fare information to customers in person
4) To channel all the complaints or customers problems to the supervisor on duty.
5) To prepare daily sales reports
6) To accept and distribute package express items
7) To record package express transactions and prepare package express sales report
8) To prepare package express manifest
9) File all the transactions issued in the counter, GPX Delivers, inventory and the roles.
10) Receive, Reports and investigate lost baggage or package lost.
11) Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Minimum Education & Certifications Required:
High school diploma or GED
Experience & Skills Required:
Two years work experience, working with public and handling money, bilingual.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions (include amount of travel):
Must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone, and have ability to lift or move at least 10lbs.
Office with heating and cooling.
