Penn National Gaming’s Corporate Office is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition and Projects Manager to join the team.  This position is responsible for developing and monitoring the execution of a talent acquisition strategy and processes for Penn National Gaming. 

Your daily responsibilities include:


*
Responsible for establishing department goals and ensuring objectives are met

*
Develop recruitment and placement policies, including strategies and selection techniques

*
Troubleshooting the Applicant Tracking System iCIMS

*
Direct internal and external exempt recruitment and placement activities for the corporate office and key executive positions

*
Source, screen and interview candidates to fill existing and future job openings through visits to college campuses, consultation with agencies, and contacts within the industry and larger community

*
Establish, maintain and enhance professional relationships with external recruiting sources (i.e., colleges/universities, recruiting agencies, professional organizations)

*
Establish creative recruitment strategies and programs to address key staffing needs which may include development of management development program, college recruitment programs, etc.

*
Create an employment “Brand” and develop supporting materials to communicate that “Brand” via employment ads, postings, our website, and recruiting materials

*
Monitor the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and programs

*
Consult with management on all performance related issues and concerns

*
Consistently demonstrate excellent communication skills

*
Establish and maintain relationships with employees at all levels of the organization providing both employees and managers accurate feedback

*
Must make decisions based on business needs for high performing employees as well as knowledge of Gaming regulations and State and Federal laws, and implement those decisions in a fair and consistent manner   



Career Requirements:



 To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:


*
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university

*
5 to 7 years progressive experience in Human Resources with emphasis in Talent Acquisition, with additional experience in employee development

*
Experience with the Applicant Tracking System iCIMS

*
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities

*
Technical knowledge in building sourcing strategies using a variety of means including cold calling, leveraging competitive resources, networking, and data mining Internet tools, web sites and social networking

*
Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

*
Current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding Human Resources issues.

*
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)

*
Strong problem solving, organizational, analytical and communication skills (verbal and written) required 

*
Thorough knowledge of all employment related laws including Civil Rights, EEO, ADA, FLSA, State Racing and Gaming Commission 

*
Ability to maintain confidentiality 

*
Ability to work flexible schedules require

*
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
