Objective:
Altour is seeking a full-time agent to manage in-house clients while also covering as Support Agent for Independent Contractors. Candidate should be flexible and able to travel among various Altour branch offices, including, Long Island, New Jersey and White Plains. The position will be based in the home office, located at 1270 Avenue of the Americas.
Candidate must facilitate professional, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for all Altour clients and Independent Contractors clients within their company's guidelines and standards of excellence for customer service.
Skills Required:
* Overall travel industry knowledge and experience * 3 years current Sabre computer knowledge-all phases ticketing * Attention to detail/conscientiousness/flexible * Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently * Interpersonal communication and relationship building skills * Willingness to learn new functions and to enhance existing skills * Knowledge / experience with Rail Europe bookings is a plus * Maintain a professional attitude at all times * Able to multi task and prioritize ?incorporating house and IC coverageDuties and Responsibilities:
* Work remotely for or under the direct supervision of an Independent Contractor * Independent Contractor coverage entails monitor ques and emails * Handles calls from their clients with confidence and all their clients ticketing transactions as necessary * Independent Contractor coverage assignments can be from any Altour location within a reasonable commute * Provide follow up information and advise all pending issues related to client coverage directly to the IC at the end of each day * Always communicate any issues encountered while covering for the IC immediately to direct supervisor Joanne DeSalvo or in Joanne?s absence Altour Management * Altour 24 Emergency Client calls * Altour 24 Q/60 morning distribution when necessary * Ticketing for WWT on a daily per request basis * Ad Hoc house/Independent Contractor assistance * Emergency Spectra Que distribution * Branch ticketing for DCA office daily at 5:00pm * Independent Contractor Quality Control Q/300 and 301 * Corporate house coverage as needed * American Express Card member ?Pay With Points /IAP and ASDonline Platinum programsPlease include your resume or a brief outline of how your skills and experience would qualify you for the position(s) and send to:
