SUMMARYAcknowledges guests with a warm verbal greeting and eye contact, in accordance with our Red Carpet training, presents menus, and promptly takes order. Establishes rapport with guests providing outstanding customer service creating a friendly and fun atmospherein order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength and compliance goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Greet and verbally acknowledge each guest promptly Ensure each station is ready for quests arrival in accordance with table setup standard Knowledge of all daily specials and featured menu items and their preparation Serve and clear food and beverages quietly and professionally, in a timely manner, and using proper serving and clearing techniques Ensure the setting of proper silverware before the arrival of the food item requiring such silverware Obtain drinks ( front server ) and food ( back server ),assisting other members of the team Complete knowledge of all menu items and how each item is prepared Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards Knowledge of alcoholic (including the ability to recommend a wine to compliment a chosen entrée) and ongoing knowledge of new drink trends Monitors guests' needs on a continual basis and ensures all requests are promptly fulfilled General knowledge of operations at HCPN in order to answer guest inquiries regarding racing, slots, wagering, etc. Collect payment and complete transactions through efficient use of POS system Maintain awareness of guests alcohol intake in accordance with RAMP guidelines Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standard Ensure all necessary pre-shift/post-shift side work is completed daily Communicate, cooperate, and coordinate actions with the team members, and all other members of the front and back of the house to ensure professional customer service Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record Declares tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift Essential Duties Relative to Performance Review: Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events. Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics. Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the “Red Carpet Customer Service” Program. Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThe person in this role has no supervisory responsibilities; however, in the absence of a supervisor, they may be asked to: Answer routine questions from co-workers Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma/GED; 1-2 years of experience; basic wine knowledge preferredor equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must have the ability to read, write and speak English. Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules. Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and guests. Must have the ability to write procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must have the ability to perform basic math skills REASONING ABILITY Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.) COMPUTER SKILLS Basic computer knowledge; POS CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
