Sr. Web Analytics Manager: e-Commerce / Coremetrics,
Large Corporation in NY needs:
Senior Manager, Web Analytics
e-Commerce / Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics
Minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience with at least 5 years of web analytics or business intelligence experience; e-Commerce experience preferred
-Experience in website page tagging and report development with web analytics and customer insight tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics, and Hitwise to analyze and solve business problems
-Advanced knowledge of Coremetrics and Google Analytics (a plus)
This position will drive the development, packaging and analysis of daily reporting, provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on his/her analysis and understanding of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and packaging daily management report; analyzing and interpreting data and historical trends, and reporting on and delving into findings as needed
-Creating, packaging and distributing dashboards that drive effective and actionable business decisions
- Providing statistics on traffic, orders, conversion, sources of traffic, etc. in an effort to improve overall customer experience and maximize sales
-Identifying traffic and conversion trends by channel, abandonment issues and opportunities for improving site conversion
-Leading efforts in planning, designing and coordinating ongoing and ad hoc analysis projects for Website Marketing, Merchandising and Marketing Channel teams to provide insights into user behavior
-Acting as the web analytics expert and advocate in the organization, offering regularly scheduled trainings to improve skills and capabilities within the Marketing and Merchandising teams
-Staying on top of current industry trends and best practices in web analysis
-Working with the Website Marketing team to identify needs/impacts on web analytics for new feature business requirements as well as identifying reporting requirements and evaluating/validating post-launch reporting
-Managing, maintaining and take full ownership over all page tagging and validating the quality of data that is captured within web analytics tool
Requirements:
-Minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience with at least 5 years of web analytics or business intelligence experience; e-Commerce experience preferred
-Experience in website page tagging and report development with web analytics and customer insight tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics, and Hitwise to analyze and solve business problems
-Advanced knowledge of Coremetrics and Google Analytics (a plus)
- A good understanding of web technologies including HTML, Flash, AJAX, CSS a plus
-Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
-A clear and concise communicator that can effectively manage expectations
-A thoughtful, innovative, proactive thinker with excellent problem solving skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage change
-Careful attention to detail and follow through
-Thorough in execution
-High energy, be extremely patient and have a strong work ethic
-The ability to work independently, be self-motivated and results-oriented but still be an excellent team player with a strong level of service
-Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, and Powerpoint
-Bachelor’s Degree
