The Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation is a not for profit corporation that exists to provide medical services, research and education. The foundation provides the infrastructure for the delivery of physician services, and contracts with a separate corporation comprised of physicians and other care providers to deliver the clinical services. This multi-specialty foundation will provide a platform from which new physicians can be recruited to continue to provide physician services in a nonprofit, community setting. The Foundation's vision is to create a medical group that will deliver high quality, market competitive medical services.
The LCSW supports the mission of Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation by providing direct clinical services to patients on a wide spectrum of physical, psychosocial, financial, and emotional needs as related to chronic and or devastating illness.
Education: Masters degree in Social work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience as a clinical social worker or equivalent.
Knowledge: Requires knowledge of a managed care environment. Must have skill in providing basic mental health assessments, evaluations, and case management. Experience in individual and group support therapy. Knowledge of the East Bay available services and social support programs as well as programs such as Medicare, Medical and managed health care service in a wide variety of environments.
License, certification, and/or registration: Current California license in Social Work. BLS certification. Current California driver’s license with proof of insurance.
