Payroll Analyst 1
Work in a shared services payroll organization responsible for processing approximately 63k employees' nationwide using PeopleSoft and SAP financial software. Analyzes, audits, reconciles and resolves complex payroll processing and employee, audit and regulatory payroll issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution and smooth payroll processing. Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations. Must have excellent and proven payroll experience, good verbal and written communication skills, strong inter-personal and organizational experience to work closely with employees, HR, Accounting, Legal, Benefits, IT and executive partners. This position entails heavy phone usage with customers.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum four (4) years payroll related experience required; proven ability to provide excellent customer service; results oriented; highly analytical.
Preferred Qualifications: Peoplesoft payroll and query experience preferred. Advanced education either via college courses or Payroll / technical certification.
