Job Description:
Overview:
The Operations Services Manager is responsible for facilitating Operations Excellence for franchise and corporate Operations. This role is responsible for managing operational cost-saving programs on a day to day basis and developing and implementing project/process improvements within this program. Another main responsibility of this role is the communication and representation of the Operations team at the Support Center in regards to Famous Dave’s initiatives that impact the Operations team.

Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and administer cost management programs and tools relating to food, labor, and direct operational expenses.
* Report on performance analytics and improvements of the cost management systems.
* Manage and organize projects and initiatives to support franchise and corporate Operations teams.
* Identify and communicate concerns of the Operations team and facilitate the resolution of these concerns through the engagement of appropriate departments.
* Represent Operations on cross-functional teams to aid Support Center initiatives.
* Serve as liaison between the Support Center and Operations.
* Create, collect, develop, validate and communicate Operational Best Practices to aid Support Center initiatives.
* Coordinate miscellaneous projects as needed.

Qualifications:
* Education: High School or GED. Bachelors Degree in Hospitality & Restaurant or related field preferred.
* Four or more years of Restaurant Management experience required.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and other software.
* Strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-up skills.
* Strong presentation skills
* Must be internally motivated, flexible, adaptable, detail oriented, strong time management and organizational skills.
* Professional conflict resolution, people management, and interpersonal communications skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safe Food Handling and Sanitation, Safety and Security systems and procedures, and computer operations.
