Job Summary
Sales Representative functions as primary point of contact for the company. Ability to handle heavy call volume from a diverse customer base including travel agents is a must. Responsible for sales as well as for servicing the customer after the sale is made. Works closely with other departments on special initiatives and provides service to customers. Excellent follow-up is required. Representative will be expected to meet certain sales objectives.
*Ideal candidates for this position will have sales experience in a call center environment as this is a sales-oriented position. Previous experience as a travel agent is also recommended for this position. We are looking for candidates with sales and/or travel coordination experience, NOT customer service. This is not a customer service position.*

Requirements:

minimum of two years sales and/or travel coordination experience
travel agent experience highly desirable
Working knowledge of air and hotel reservations’ systems
Strong customer service, sales and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented enviroment with the ability to change gears easily
detail oriented and ability to handle responsibilities proactively
positive sales demeanor and a “smiling voice”
