Responsibilities As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direct services for the Community's dining operations. The Kitchen Supervisor is a hands-on leader in day to day operations directly supervising and assisting the Community's culinary services team, maintains resident focus business decorum at all times, and oversees the kitchen flow, tray delivery service flow, balances the responsibilities among the culinary staff. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service. Qualifications:
High School diploma required or GED required; Associates degree preferred
One (1) year experience in skilled nursing dining and/or long term care, assisted living or hospital dining
2 years Supervisory/management experience preferred which may include supervising and responsibility of shift/daily operations
Maintains current Food Services Sanitation certificate
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Ability to read and follow instructions to meet the dietary needs of the residents
Competent in organizational, time management skills
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
