BOH/KITCHEN MANAGER Rainbow Chinese restaurant & Bar, headed by chef and owner Tammy Wong, has been in operation for over 20 years. POSITION Organize communications, scheduling and training for BOH staff. - Oversee all critical orders for BOH o Large orders, events & catering o Work with FOH manager to ensure all orders are executed successfully - Monitor use of & stock all supplies o Order & stock food o Order & stock supplies - Over see organization & maintenance of all BOH related areas o Schedule regular maintenance o Initiate projects to restructure organization of BOH as necessary - Food prep on down time QUALIFICATIONS - Food certification - Computer literate- Word, Excel (preferred) - 2 years restaurant experience - Management Experience - Knowledge of basic spoken Spanish or Chinese preferred DESIRED STRENGTHS - Team Ethic - Ability to motivate and lead employees - Adept in social media - Past experience in consumer-centric roles - Extensive knowledge of food/beverage industry COMPENSATION This is a full time position.
