Career Description:
SUMMARY Greets guests warmly and promptly with eye contact and enthusiasm per our Red Carpetguidelines while providing quick and efficient service with monetary transactions. Also responsible for clearing tables and trash in assigned venue when necessary. Other guest service duties required as requested by restaurant supervisor in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength and compliance goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for receiving payment from food and beverage guests in a prompt and courteous manner
Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures within food and beverage department at HCPN R
estock and clean assigned station at end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards Responsible for clearing and sanitizing all tables after the occupying guests vacate them
Responsible for removing dishes from tables and returning to dishwasher
Responsible for emptying trash receptacles in accordance with venue guidelines Answers guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate member of management
Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards
Accurate and efficient use of POS system
Maintain awareness of guests' alcohol intake following RAMP guidelines
Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards
Attendance at pre-shift meetings Participate as a team member with all servers, buspersons, cooks, supervisors, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations
Essential Duties Relative to Performance Review: Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events. Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics. Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the “Red Carpet Customer Service” Program. Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The person in this role has no supervisory responsibilities; however, in the absence of a supervisor, they may be asked to: Answer routine questions from co-workers Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 0-6 months of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Will train for position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Must have the ability to read, write and speak English. Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must have the ability to perform basic math skills REASONING ABILITY Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.) COMPUTER SKILLS Basic computer knowledge; POS experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. RAMP or TIPS certification
