Ecommerce Marketing Analyst
Support Helmut Lang and Theory's ecommerce business by helping managing various marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales to respective sites.
The right candidate will have a college degree in business or the arts and sciences, plus 1-3 years of relevant work experience. All applicants should have a good understanding of both the Helmut Lang and Theory brands and must possess an interest in fashion and the online shopping experience. Candidate needs to be enthusiastic, reliable, nimble, and have an honest work ethic.
This position reports to the Ecommerce Marketing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in management of key marketing programs to drive traffic and sales to and including paid and organic search, email marketing, affiliate marketing, shopping comparison sites, and partnerships.
- Support marketing program analysis by tracking performance vs. forecast/plan and help drive decisions around program optimization
- Search Marketing: build keywords and creative on major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) to support new merchandise deliveries, help determine and implement and optimization techniques (geo-targeting, landing page testing), track organic search results on an ongoing basis
- Email Marketing: assist in sending weekly emails, report on weekly performance, creation of email performance boards
- Affiliate Marketing: assist in managing channel by reviewing new affiliate sites, developing newsletters to affiliates (ShopStyle, Polyvore, StyleFeeder) based on merchandise top sellers, new arrivals, marketing promotions, etc.
- Promotions: assist in execution and tracking of promotions
- Reporting: build and distribute weekly dashboards and reports on ecommerce and marketing performance
- Expense Management: responsible for processing and managing invoices for all marketing vendors
- Assist with creation of company-wide merchandising and marketing concept boards and calendar
OTHER:
- Assist in other general website responsibilities including website quality assurance, reporting, etc. as well as other administrative tasks
