Overview
Territory: Eastern Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Prefer the individual to live between Quebec City, Quebec and Moncton, New Brunswick.
Develop Canadian territory sales strategy that attains sales targets set by corporate objectives. Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction within area of responsibility. Complete territory responsibilities to cover a broad range of customers (warehouse distributors, original equipment manufacturers, dealers and fleets).
Dimensions:
Accounts: 300 - 450 warehouse distributor & dealer locations (varies by territory)
Scope: Sales of multiple brands across a current base of 21 key CVA product lines.
Budget: $15K to $35K
Profit: Manage to division account receivable targets
Ability to travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* High level of technical knowledge of drive train and undercarriage product lines.
* Implements sales automation techniques through strong PC skills.
* Creates and implements territory sales plans to achieve business unit sales growth targets.
* Professional presence across wide range of aftermarket customers (fleets, OEM dealers, distributors).
* Researches market for competitive information and pricing to assure competitiveness within territory.
* Conduct 'fleet night' training classes.
* Conduct product training classes

Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field or high school diploma with minimum of 6 years or more experience in sales, marketing, customer support, business or engineering. Prefer ArvinMeritor Automotive products and field sales experience.
* Demonstrated strong product and technical knowledge.
* The Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket organization has the right to deem a person qualified for a position if that person has had one or more years experience in the position or similar position.
* Must be bilingual: English & French
Work Conditions:
Heavy travel required.
