Title: Chief Baker Location: ARE-Dubai You will be responsible for the efficient running of the Bakery (part of the Pastry kitchen) in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Chief Baker is responsible to assist the Pastry Chef with managing the Bakery, in line with the Pastry operating concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Bakery operation and administration. * Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialisation. * Minimum 2 years work experience as a Chief Baker, or Sous Chef in Pastry kitchen of a larger operation or luxury international brands. * Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage. * Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential. * Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity are a must. * Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
