Job Description:
SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for maintaining the Epic Buffet FOH area cleaned and fully stocked.
DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, a cast member must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are not limited to, but are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable cast members with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Attend TIPS Certification
Removes dirty dishes from tables as guests are eating.
Wipes table tops and chairs after guests leave the buffet.
Refills guests' drinks.
Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Observes local health and sanitation codes
Performs all assigned side work
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests that perpetuates Hollywood Casino's commitment towards quality guest service.
Follow all safety rules.
Adhere to departmental quality standards.
Maintain compliance with the Illinois Gaming Board Rules, Standards and the company's System of Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Work within the guidelines established by Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casino Aurora.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: HS Degree or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions. Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Qualified to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board. Departmental specific requirements: TIPS Certified
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a cast member to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, sit, walk, reach, handle, feel, balance, stoop, kneel, turn/twist, bend at waist, and exercise foot-hand-eye coordination.

Must be able to lift, push, and carry more than 50 lbs.
