Unit Clerical I - Office/Checkout Administrator Columbus,OH Position Title: Unit Clerical I - Office/Checkout Administrator COLUMBUS CREW STADIUM
Position Summary & Responsibilities: The Office/Checkout Administrator at Columbus Crew Stadium will be responsible for assisting non-profit groups and concession supervisors with office related tasks. The Office/Checkout Administrator will also be responsible for balancing concession locations by comparing inventory counts with net sales through use of Tangent operating system.
. Provide the highest quality of service to all customers and clients at all times. . Display knowledge of the stadium concession menus and item assembly. . Responsible for all duties involved with non-profit group arrival including sign in, giving appropriate paperwork, supplying uniform items and directing to designated concession location. . Ability to guide non-profit groups through all required paperwork and explain general procedures and expectations. . Understanding of Tangent back of house operating system. Ability to enter inventory and generate reports. . Understanding of Micros point of sale system. General knowledge of how to complete a sale and troubleshoot problems. . Ability to balance concession stands and troubleshoot issues at end of event by comparing beginning and ending inventory counts with money collected. . Ability to listen and respond to non-profit group questions or concers. . Assist with other general office duties including paperwork filing and Microsoft office tasks. . Display general stadium knowledge that will assist with customer needs (I.e. Where to send them for specific food requests, restroom and ATM locations, guest services location and seat location).
Typical Knowledge and Skills:
. Education or Equivalent Experience: High School Diploma or GED. . Supervisor/Managerial Experience: None. . Function Specific Experience: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel knowledge. . Certification Requirements: None.
Expectations:
. Reliable transportation. . Flexible schedule with ability to work on nights and most weekends. . Attendance at all required trainings prior to being scheduled. . Ability to catch on to computer point of sale systems relatively fast.
Supervision: The Office/Checkout Administrator will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an outdoor stadium that is subject to inclement weather.
. Physical Demands: Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity and long periods of walking and standing. Minimal lifting will be required. The Office/Checkout Administrator will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment specified by Sodexo management.
